  i have to give props to most athiest on jwn, for one thing, you guys dont run away, i have been having discussions on youtube with jw and it is so frustrating.

  what makes it frustrating is unlike me and athiest ,the jw and myself both claim the same thing that the bible is gods word, almost everytime i get into a discussion with one they make a claim i show them bible verse and they have no answer, so they attack me other than the point i bring up, than they say om under satan control, all for just using the bible.

  This just shows that long posts don't necessarily answer the questions asked. We still have a god that is more than happy to deem psychopathic murderers, rapists, perverts and scum as "righteous in his eyes". No wonder the churches are full are paedophiles and religion is reponsible for so much bloodshed.

  Does a person who shows impatience to another deserve the same punishment as a serial child rapist?

  This demonstrates the corrosive effects of christian doctrine on the thinking ability of an otherwise sensible adult.

  I don't remember where Calvin said that in so many words. They all deserve hell, that's not to say it's the same punishment.

  One poster said of God “ He authorised, rape, murder, genocide, infanticide by bear… He is no better than the these men he declared righteous.”

  I believe if they would like to be the Judge of all creation they would need to look at Christ, who as a man did none of those things. God as a man (Jesus) had no sin, so is far better than any other man.

  I believe we can’t judge the father as he is not a man, nor subject to the law.

  It is humiliating to accept Christ’s righteousness over our own.

  I think 57% of the world's population would agree with me that "Christ's Rightepusnes" whatever that is, means nothing at all.
